We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Administrator to join our finance team on a fixed term contract starting early January 2026 to 31st March 2026.

This role is key to ensuring the accurate processing and recording of purchase invoices and maintaining well-organised financial records.

Responsibilities will include- 

• Inputting purchase invoices onto the system. 
• Matching invoices to delivery notes and statements. 
• Maintaining electronic and paper filing systems.
• Supporting general purchase ledger administration.

You will also assist with resolving invoice queries and liaising with suppliers where required.

The successful candidate will be computer literate, confident using accounting software and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), and comfortable working with large volumes of data. Accuracy, good organisational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines are essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous purchase ledger experience or an administrator looking to develop their skills within a finance environment.

Other details of the Purchase Ledger Adminstrator - 

• Working hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm. 
• This is a fixed term contract role, and you need to be availble to start the role in January 2026 and commit to 31st March 2026.   Interviews will take place w/c 5th January 2026.   
• Role pays National Living Wage.
